A NEW CIFF
31st January to 3rd February 2013
This past August, the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) unveiled a new visual identity, a new structure and an array of new services to better support our partners. The response has been overwhelmingly positive. This was however just the beginning. CIFF is in the process of unveiling what is to become the most comprehensive and innovative fashion platform in the industry.
At CIFF, we believe that one common platform in Copenhagen uniting all Scandinavian fashion under one roof is the only way forward. We are therefore continuing to implement the new structure introduced in August which now encompasses menswear, womenswear, children's wear, sportswear, shoes and jewellery gathered in one place at one time during one fair. Once our new structure and services are fully implemented, CIFF will become not only the gateway to Scandinavian fashion but the ultimate one-stop destination for the entire European fashion industry.
A NEW SET OF SERVICES
The Scandinavian ethos and way of life are at the forefront of global style trends and thanks in part to CIFF, the world is now taking note. For the first time in its 20 year history, CIFF attracted to Copenhagen some of the world's most influential journalists and bloggers from across the U.S., Europe, Asia and Scandinavia. Along with CIFF's own in-house social media team, they worked tirelessly to create valuable positive buzz about CIFF across the digital sphere. CIFF is propelling the Scandinavian fashion industry into the international spotlight thanks to the ambitious social media strategy launched in August. CIFF will pursue its digital strategy for the upcoming Fall/Winter 2013 -14 fair by attracting key influencers including journalists and bloggers from the world over.
The CIFF Gazette
The inaugural issue of The CIFF Gazette unveiled in August proudly featured editorial contributions by Jessica Michault, the influential editor-in-chief of Now Fashion and former style editor of the International Herald Tribune as well as the directional images of acclaimed photographer Daniel Riera. Daniel Riera's work has appeared in countless design-driven fashion and lifestyle magazines including Fantastic Man, The Gentlewoman, Monocle, G.Q. and the campaigns of international brands such as Loewe, Cos and Tommy Hilfiger. Filled with highly relevant and insightful content from respected fashion authorities and world-class photography, it is an ideal platform to promote our brands whilst informing our community of the developments shaping our industry. The CIFF Gazette is a biannual publication with a circulation of 40,000 copies per issue. The next issue of The CIFF Gazette to be unveiled during the Fall/Winter 2013-14 fair will again feature the editorial contributions of Jessica Michault and the images of Daniel Riera.
