The Autumn Winter 2021 collection is a tale in itself and though told silently, the message comes across strong. Within the muted color pallet and sheltering layers of fabric it is an inherent sense of thoughtfulness. The collection is developed with details in mind, emphasizing Mark Knely Domino Tan’s natural tendency to rationality, exploration and uniqueness. To quote architect Mies van der Rohe, "God is in the detail." And these are details that unveil themselves to the wearer of pieces by MKDT: the consideration of construction, the effort of choosing the exact right fabric, the re-invention of classic designs. All together this attention to detail and focus on the interplay between materiality and form creates a tactile collection, ment to be worn by people all ages.
