CWB: CIFF Kids AW26 trade show report
CWB, By Fiona Coleman, March 2026
CIFF in Copenhagen is a prominent bi-annual event for the global fashion industry. While CIFF Kids, held concurrently, remains the leading kids’ trade show in Scandinavia, recent seasons have seen a shift towards a showroom-style format. Multi-brand groups such as Lux Kids and Brands4kids, and long-time exhibitor Serendipity Organics, view the three-day show as an extension of their showrooms, hosting appointments with visiting buyers. As well as kidswear, the trade show features menswear, womenswear, footwear, accessories and beauty brands, making it especially appealing to multi-product retailers. The venue also includes permanent showrooms, notably focused on footwear, with Scandinavian kids’ brands such as Angulus attracting significant interest. Here, we highlight some of our favourite exhibitors, both longstanding and new.
Serendipity Organics
Serendipity Organics (pictured above) offers clothing and accessories for newborns, babies, children and women, made from pure materials such as GOTS-certified organic cotton, soft baby alpaca and llama wool. The Danish-designed collection prioritises organic cotton and natural wool for comfort, driven by a commitment to care for children, the environment, and respect for human rights. Cotton garments are produced in India, while alpaca wool, chosen for its softness, is knitted by Bolivian collectives, ensuring high quality. Natural fibres benefit the environment, skin and wellbeing. The a/w 26 collection features delicate textiles, enduring designs, and a soft colour palette of rose, brown and green, including new shades Orchid, Soil and Moss. It includes woven shirts, dresses, brushed cotton, knit sweaters and soft leisure wear, with heavier corduroy for pants, jackets and dresses. Layering pieces such as T-shirts and leggings create a versatile foundation. We love the variety and colours of the crafted knitwear range in baby alpaca and llama wool, blending semi-handmade and hand-knit techniques.
Beckmann
Showing at CIFF Kids for the first time, Norwegian company Beckmann celebrates its 80th anniversary this year. Since 1946, it has made ergonomic schoolbags aligned with current trends. Sold in over 25 countries, its products blend tradition with innovation and reflect conscious choices that support respectful, fair, and caring production. The brand acknowledges room for improvement and aims to develop responsible products and foster fair manufacturing conditions to reduce its environmental impact. Catering to both boys and girls of all ages, the range of colourful classics features the brand’s logo. Some of our favourite designs include a cute teddy bear bag with a textured bear pocket, and fun character bags featuring a shark, dinosaur or rabbit.
Copenhagen Colors
Copenhagen Colors designs and produces high-quality, sustainable collections for children aged 0-12 years. The company uses organic and natural materials, prioritising eco-labelling, safety and social responsibility through GOTS- or OCS-certified factories, and makes items to order to avoid overproduction. Inspired by Copenhagen, the brand aims to stimulate children’s curiosity and creativity with playful, durable designs rooted in simplicity, colour and functionality. The a/w 26 theme is Love You to the Moon and Back, allowing Copenhagen Colors to play creatively with all its design DNA. Embroidered celestial icons adorn its iconic quilted jackets and gilets, which, alongside the familiar bow motif, have become so well known and loved. This season, the workwear denim adds a contemporary touch for boys, and new folkloric knits and prints for girls are also highlights.
