Strengthening Connections: CIFF in Poland – a market gaining momentum in the European fashion landscape
April 30, 2026
As part of our continued focus on international market development, CIFF recently travelled to Warsaw to engage with one of Europe’s most dynamic and fast-evolving fashion landscapes.
Together with B2B Fashion Hub, we co-hosted a private lunch in collaboration with GQ Poland at the Creative Industries Institute in central Warsaw. The gathering brought together a curated group of leading local retailers, brands, press, and industry voices, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland, as well as our local partner GoPackshot.
Poland continues to establish itself as a key market within Central and Eastern Europe. Driven by a strong retail sector and a new generation of emerging talent, the market presents clear opportunities for both local and international brands. Through ongoing dialogue with our community and global network, we see significant potential for future growth and collaboration – further reinforcing the importance of strengthening our presence in the region as we approach CIFF 67.
The programme featured a presentation by CIFF Director Sofie Dolva, who shared insights into CIFF’s strategic direction, curated brand portfolio, and upcoming special projects. This was followed by a series of brand and retail case studies, highlighting the growing synergies between the Danish and Polish fashion ecosystems.
Among the attending retailers were key players such as Answear, Vitkac, Gomez, Gotem, Moliera 2, and Modivo.
The visit also included a guided tour of Warsaw’s retail landscape, organized in collaboration with local partners. This provided valuable insights into consumer behavior, retail positioning, and the broader market dynamics shaping the region today.
Through initiatives like these, CIFF continues to build meaningful relationships across markets – creating new opportunities for the brands in our community and strengthening our role as an international platform for fashion, business, and collaboration.
