advarics on their first CIFF: We gained visibility, connections, conversations and partnerships

This season advarics brought their expertise to the halls of CIFF with a stand open for brands and retailers can use technology to strengthen their business.

We had a chat with Julia Müller, Head of International Business Develop at advarics, to hear how they experienced their very first CIFF.

Can you tell us how the partnership between CIFF and advarics first came about?

advarics was planning a market entry into the Nordics as part of our international expansion strategy. We think the Nordics markets are rife for an ERP/POS provider for lifestyle and apparel retail in the SMB segment. Once that was established, partnering with CIFF was a no brainer. The idea to partner with CIFF came at a very opportune moment: exactly when CIFF had decided to expand and also invite and partner with technology providers… so it feels like it was meant to be. We then reached out to Joe, and the first meeting was fantastic, really collaborative and creative. The rest is history.

What were your expectations going into the partnership?

The expectation was to be visible on a platform that is the go-to for many brands and retailers not just in the Nordics but also in mainland Europe. We were excited about the vibrant environment that is CIFF and for the many connections and conversations that we could build and have. The event itself and the side events were a real highlight of our tradeshow calendar.

Looking back, what do you feel you gained from the experience?

Our participation at CIFF and the marketing activity before, during and after, formed the kick off for our official market entry into the Nordics. We gained visibility, connections, conversations and partnerships. We are very much looking forward to building on what we have already gained.

Since this was advarics' first time at CIFF, what were your first impressions of the event and its community?

The CIFF event and its community felt vibrant, creative, welcoming and inclusive. We felt immediately ‘at home’ and really enjoyed our experience on a personal and professional level.

What kind of feedback did you hear from attendees about your presence or the solutions you showcased?

We had a lot of feedback around how visible we were as a result of partnering with CIFF. We also had feedback about the value CIFF can deliver as a result of inviting technology providers. We are very excited about the results we had from our first appearance at CIFF and are looking forward to continuing our partnership.
