Helen Tsujii, Buyer at Trés Bien
What are you looking most forward to discovering at CIFF 66?
There's been talk of a growing 'sameness epidemic' in menswear – it'll be interesting to see if there's a brand exhibiting in Copenhagen which can break through some of the more established tropes.
How would you describe CIFF in three words?
Authentic, laid-Back, reflective
What makes Copenhagen – and CIFF – a must-visit on your buying calendar?
As CIFF is around the end of buying season, it gives us the chance to add to the final assortment where we've either identified a trend or pattern, or where we feel we might be lacking for the season ahead. In the same vein, it's also a great opportunity for us to have a catch up with other buyers, brands and press for a bit of a debrief.
Erlend Osland Simensen, Buyer at Dapper
What are you looking most forward to discovering at CIFF 66?
I look forward to coming back yet again to discover clothing and lifestyle brands, both to see old friends and collaboration partners, as well as exploring new suppliers and designers. I particularly like the recent years' apothecary sections, it is difficult to meet with producers of perfumes and cosmetics at the other fashion weeks. It is also impressive how Copenhagen has become an important part of the fashion calendar, representing not only Denmark but all of the Nordics.
How would you describe CIFF in three words?
Comprehensive, Scandinavian and efficient
What makes Copenhagen – and CIFF – a must-visit on your buying calendar?
I think it is CIFF's ability to showcase Nordic designers in one place, as well as gather buyers not only from Northern Europe but also the rest of the world. Copenhagen has something else to offer than what is found in Paris or Milano and an important factor is the fair, this makes it a natural stop for buyers of stores such as Dapper.
Etsuko Meguro, Buyer at Beams

What makes Copenhagen – and CIFF – a must-visit on your buying calendar?
I believe that the current mood of Demi-Luxe Beams and that of CIFF match. Sophisticated but also effortless, minimal but also feminine. This style that CIFF offers is well-received in our market.
Natalie Tromer, Buyer at Bloomingdales
What are you looking most forward to discovering at CIFF 66?
Finding brands that bring a sense of discovery to the Bloomingdale’s customer! I’m excited to see how designers bring in new textures, proportions, and color stories to bring something differentiated and modern to the market, while still maintaining that cool and cozy Scandi aesthetic.
How would you describe CIFF in three words?
Fresh, trend-relevant, and directional
What makes Copenhagen – and CIFF – a must-visit on your buying calendar?
Copenhagen is where editorial and fresh scandinvaian design meets functional commerciality. CIFF is a must visit to see the best of the best of Scandi brands that know their point of view and have diverse offerings.

I’m trying not to be too specific this time about what I’m looking for. I’ve found that when you stroll around with open eyes, you usually find the nicest and most surprising products and brands.
How would you describe CIFF in three words?
Evolving, dynamic, interconnected
What makes Copenhagen – and CIFF – a must-visit on your buying calendar?
After the hectic energy of Paris, it’s always nice to come to Copenhagen and enjoy what CIFF and fashion week offer without the pressure of a packed showroom schedule. I usually avoid over-planning and just let things unfold, which helps me spot things I wouldn’t have expected.
Kayla Curtis-Evans, Editor at Hypebeast
What are you looking most forward to discovering at CIFF 66?
I am always excited for so many brand discovery opportunities at CIFF. It’s always nice to reconnect with favorite brands, especially local ones like Pico Copenhagen, but I always love browsing the fair and chatting with brands I am not already familiar with. I also appreciate that in recent years, CIFF has become more multidisciplinary – bridging the gap between music, fashion, and other niche subcultures – and I’d love to see how you all continue to push the envelope this upcoming season.
How would you describe CIFF in three words?
Whimsical, immersive, educational
What makes Copenhagen — and CIFF — a must-visit on your calendar?
As an editor, my stories and broader career thrive upon uplifting other creative voices. Some of the most impressive, gritty, hardworking creative tastemakers in fashion and beyond are currently emerging out of Copenhagen – many of which are showcased at CIFF – so getting to be in the heart of this unique creative scene is truly a one of a kind experience. I take a lot of inspiration from my time spent at CIFF and in the beautiful city of Copenhagen.

What are you looking most forward to discovering at CIFF 66?
I want to find minimally designed, functional items with a distinctly Nordic feel, as well as Nordic-style colors and patterned pieces that are different from those in other European countries.
How would you describe CIFF in three words?

What makes Copenhagen – and CIFF – a must-visit on your buying calendar?
CPHFW has introduced a unique initiative, different from other countries, whereby only brands that meet at least 19 of the sustainability requirements set out in the “Minimum Standards” implemented from 2025 are allowed to participate. I am very interested in the group exhibition held in such a country and would like to incorporate it into our future selection.
I also want to see first-hand the minimal design, view of nature, and color schemes that are characteristic of Scandinavian design, and connect these insights to new forms of expression.
Dylon Kader, Buyer at Wunder

Bouncing ideas around with like-minded people, doing that in gorgeous Copenhagen. I mean… What more could I possibly want?
Sonny Issa, Buyer at Vallgatan 12
What are you looking most forward to discovering at CIFF 66?
Browsing without a strict agenda and hopefully finding a few unexpected additions to our curation. Brands get overexposed quickly these days, so I’m mainly looking for exciting stuff for our crowd that you don’t see everywhere. Differentiation is key!
How would you describe CIFF in three words?
Inspiring, inclusive, ambitious
What makes Copenhagen — and CIFF — a must-visit on your buying calendar?
Copenhagen is the final stop on my buying calendar, with fewer back-to-back showroom appointments. It’s a great place to wrap things up and get inspired, but also to catch up with friends and the fashion community.
