1104 by MAR is a unisex Icelandic jewelry brand designed by Dagmar Gunnarsdottir. 1104 became alive in december 2020 to honor my father, the late Gunnar Myrdal, a great heart surgeon that dedicated his life to save others after he lost his short but hard battle with cancer. His birthday was the 11th of April. The design is inspired by the raw edges of the untamed beauty of Icelandic nature, reflecting its contrast.
