Salis is a Portuguese swimwear brand built around one simple idea: comfort should never be a compromise. Our signature crinkle fabric naturally adapts to different body shapes through a one-size approach, creating swimwear that is easy to wear, easy to fit and comfortable throughout the day. Founded by fashion designer Vânia Reis, Salis combines more than 20 years of fashion industry experience with the expertise of a Portuguese family-owned manufacturer that has been producing textiles for over 50 years. From knitting the fabric to the final garment, every stage of production takes place within a 50-kilometre radius in Northern Portugal. This close production network allows us to oversee every step of the process, maintain consistent quality standards, reduce transportation and support local craftsmanship. For retailers, the one-size approach also brings simplicity to buying and merchandising, reducing size complexity while offering a flexible fit that works across a broad range of body shapes. Rather than chasing trends, Salis focuses on creating versatile, long-lasting pieces designed to be worn, loved and kept. Our approach combines technical expertise, responsible production and a deep understanding of how women want to feel in their swimwear.
