For AW26, Wood Wood travels into the Highlands, where vast silence, shifting skies, and unexpected encounters shape Field Studies. The collection explores the tension between rural communities and outside visitors — between the known and the unknown — with inspiration drawn from rugged landscapes, unexplained light phenomena, and the subtle eeriness often felt by city dwellers in small, traditional villages. Mainline refines the highland narrative through clean, functional expressions. Woolen outerwear, artistic checks, rich knitwear, and technical puffers define a collection rooted in movement and ease. Shapes remain relaxed and elongated, creating a considered contrast between rural heritage and contemporary Nordic design. Double A channels Field Studies through a more youthful, street-driven lens. Checks and clashing patterns energize the range, alongside heavy cotton knits, lumberjack overshirts, and padded nylon coach jackets.
