Carlijn find inspiration for her designs from the trips she takes and from the world around her, she likes pearls and colors. From the azure blue waters tin, Ibiza and the endless green fields of Bali, to the multi-color tulip field in the North of Holland.

Carlijn's professional journey began with completing a degree in Museology, where her eye for beauty and love for culture and heritage came together. However, she found no fulfilment in traditional work environment and when Covid pandemic hit us all in 2021, a turning point for Carlijn emerged.

Carlijn picked up her childhood love of making jewelry, and took a course to learn to make jewelry pieces. She received positive feedback and enthusiasm, and Bonnie Studios was born.
